A FEW USEFUL SHORTCUTS

Watch it move, then stop it.

Demonstrations: pick one on the left. Every slider and tick box in Controls acts live, so you can change the mass or the angle and see the forces and graphs follow.

Freeze a moment: pause, then step 0.1 s at a time, forward or back. The clock counts in seconds, and each graph is drawn bold up to now, with a dot at the moment you are looking at. A run stops at its end (a landing, the end of the track); Play starts it again.

Forces: arrows are drawn to scale within each picture, labelled with their size in newtons. Labels & forces hides every label, arrow, and gradient so a frame can be used as a question.

Graphs: the area under a velocity–time graph is shaded as the displacement, and a dashed tangent on a displacement–time graph shows the velocity as its gradient.

Formulae under Controls work through each demonstration's equations with the current numbers. Share link copies a link that opens this demo with these settings, and Export PNG saves the current frame.
